Juneau County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Ch. 130 ) Approved 13 October 1856. Went into effect 1 January 1857.〕 After a contest with neighboring New Lisbon, the county seat was established in Maugh's Town, which is known today as Mauston.
